Twin Time

Lori and Lindsay came to play today and we all had a great playdate :) However we did wish Betsy and her kids were here too :(

Swimming Party for Logan and Caroline

Logan and Caroline had a swimming party with their friends. Kalyn and Noah attended as well as maybe 15-20 other kids. We enjoyed swimming, pizza and cupcakes!

Little Swimmers

Kalyn and Noah started their swim lessons two weeks ago. Noah did great the first lesson, however wanted nothing to do with in the second and third lesson. He did really well just this past time though, staying there on the side the whole time, so we have two more weeks to go!

Days in the Life of a kid

Kalyn and Noah are just so busy, they just have so much to do and can hardly get it all done!
First they have to get on their "airplane" couch and Kalyn is pilot while Noah is a passenger.

Then they also need to paint their pictures in a timely manner............

As you can see, we like to just get messy more than anything!

Then on days when we "Dont have anything to do and we are bored!!!!" mommy finds a craft hidden from xmas from Aunt Dana and Uncle Derrick that they are so excited to work on!

Finally we have to play with our cousins Logan and Caroline and are ALL smiles :)

It is a busy busy time in Kalyn and Noah land :)

Off to the Movies.....

We took the kids to see the Veggie Tales Pirate movie today since Noah has never been to the movie theatre and he LOVES veggie tales! It was good even though we were a few minutes late since Mommy got the time wrong, however we enjoyed it and the kids sat through the whole thing without any trouble!

Noah is not napping in his bed anymore since he is in a twin bed. However he does great at night so that is fine by us! However, he wants to go to "Daddys chair and tv" for a little nap most days, ha ha.

David's Birthday

David turned the big 35. Unfortunately he had to work that day, however he came home to a feast he loves. We had alexanders feast which is chicken with feta cheese and olives, etc melted on top over brown Rice, green beans and rolls. As you can see it looks tasty and it is!!!!

David wanted a confetti cake with confetti icing so we made that for him too. The kids enjoyed helping with the cake and helping put a few balloons up that day as well.

Of course the kids enjoyed eating the cake!

Next was gift time. David opened a barlow lens for his telescope and moon polorizer.

This is a DVD of a family guy episode based on the star wars movies which is pretty funny!

He was the MOST excited about a CD I happened to find online he had as a kid called "star wars and other galatic funk" and remembers rollerskating to it on his birthday when he was younger!

Polar Bear Dive

Saturday am at the Y they did a polar bear dive where anyone daring enough could slide down the water slide into the pool. It was 35 degrees outside and the water about 45. Many people were too scared to once they got up there but David was brave, even did it twice before heading in to the indoor pool and sauna!

Baby Sophia and Abby Visit!

Abby and Sophie came down to visit a few days so we all had to go over and see her at Mom and Dad's house! She loved seeing the kids, smiling at Kalyn! She is just two months old now.

Friday we ate lunch at a chinese buffet that was so good. Sophia enjoyed Kalyn singing to her!
