Pool Time at last!

We had to get the kiddie pool out last week when we had a sunny warm 80 degree day! The kids spent a few hours playing outside in the back, splashing in the pool and popsicles. Of course since that day we are now in the 60s with rain so its been COLD lately. They had a ball and we cant wait until it gets warm like this again soon we hope!!!

Eggs, Easter ... and a tooth!

We enjoyed dying easter eggs again this year. We keep them in the fridge so we can eat them for a few days...





On Easter morning the kids were eager to go "find" their easter baskets the bunny hid for them!






Noah found his behind the loveseat and he had Toby the Train and Diesal 10 which he was SO excited about as he LOVES all the thomas trains now. The bunny also left him the finding Nemo leapster game to go with his leapster he has already.







Kalyn found her basket in the corner of the morning room and she was happy to find she got a Backyardagans leapster game and the bunny also found the books she had asked for from her school book fair!




Whee, I am ready to play leapster now!

We had the kids sit on the front porch for pictures before church as they were so cute in their Easter outfits! Kalyn always poses now :)

We had Logan and Caroline join the kids at church by the cross for a picture which we like to do every year but this is the first Easter at Good Shepherd Church for all of us.

After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpas for lunch and to visit with Karas family.

Kalyn and Noah wanted to hold Sophie who had her Easter attire on as well :)

After a yummy lunch the kids decorated sugar cookies grandma had ready for them. Well, Noah really just did little decorating and lots of just EATING the cookie!

And finally before we left for the day, we had to watch Logan pull his front tooth out which he did with great determination! Way to go Logan, he lost his third tooth!

Two Birthday partys in one day!!!

We had a fun filled Easter weekend! Logan had a birthday party for family at lunchtime. The weather was perfect too, so we got to go out and play outdoors during the party! Abby, Steve and Sophie came too which was great to see them!!!

Sophie is 4 mos old now and such a cute baby!!!

After a fun filled morning we got the kids in the car and headed over to our friend Joy and Dannys house who have twin girls Lori and Lindsay who turned 4! They had a Dora Moonwalk in their yard the kids enjoyed jumping on. We had an egg hunt there, bubble machine to play with and even cotton candy!

Noah LOVES sandboxes so he enjoyed the one they had!

Thank you Sara and Lonnie and Joy and Danny for a FUN day! Thanks as well for wearing the kids out because they slept great that night :) ha ha!!

Open Wide!!!!

The kids went to the dentist in March as well. This was Kalyns 3rd time and lucky she did great. Last time a kid next to her was getting sick so she refused to open her mouth. This was Noahs FIRST visit and he did wonderful!!!

All Aboard!

We traveled to Spencer NC on March 15th to the NC transportation museum. We had a great time riding the train with the easter bunny and we met a few neighbors up there. They had a lot of old trains to see in the museums, a roundhouse and much more.

Kalyn set up a "chess set" with blocks all by herself to play with Noah :)

Kalyn made "animals" with the blocks and showed us later. Left to right is a moose, flamingo and duck.

They made a feast of kiddie food on train table and sat and did their prayers before eating.

Kids sure are creative and cute :)

Gremlin Chase

Now you can all see what we really do in the house and how crazy we can be, ha ha! We taped a short clip of David as a gremlin chasing us around. So, now you know just how silly we can be :)
