Air Show

Today we went to an airshow which was spectacular as Noah would say! We got there right when it opened and stayed almost 3 hours until the kids were so tired. It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to go next year. They had several planes the kids could view up close like this "shark" plane which was pretty neat!


They got to sit in a plane for a picture which was pretty neat. Noah had to stand so we could see him though!

Noah looked at all these switches and his look says it all... he looks like he is in a trance.. he LOVES clocks, buttons, gadgets, we think he will be some sort of scientist or inventor of some sort one day.

They each got to pick out one plane to take home too which they thought was fun. Now while I am doing this blog they actually are playing "air show" in the playroom with all their planes/helicopters and star wars ships, ha ha!

Kalyn's festival... and Hermie!

Last week Kalyn's preschool had their end of the year festival, as she will be out of school on the 22nd!! (and a rising kindergartener, I cant believe it!!!). First they had a tug of war with their class...

Then their gym teacher had a parachute and few other gymnastic things for them to do.

The school rented two large moon bouncers they played in.

They even had face painting before heading over to Mr music to sing and dance....

Then they enjoyed cotton candy, wow!

After class that day, Kalyn got to take "hermie" home. He is a caterpillar that one child takes home each week for the weekend. It has a bookbag with books, a puzzle and two hermie movies too. Kalyn decided to have hermie come to the pet store with us that afternoon!

Kalyn wants a cat SO badly so had to show hermie the cats as well!!

We then went to the library with hermie so he could help Kalyn on the games there as well.

It was a great week with the festival and having hermie home for mother day weekend too!

Cousins!

We had a great time a week ago with the cousins. Abby and Sophie came down again to visit and then we went to Logan and Carolines to play after we spent the morning at my house. Here is Grandma and Sophie at our home.

Luckily I kept my bouncer and sophie enjoyed it all of about 5 minutes, ha ha, cute though!

Then over at Logan and Carolines the girls enjoyed swinging a little bit in the warm sun

The kids all had the best time together, they love spending time with their cousins!

Festival and Flowers

Saturday am we enjoyed going to the festival in town. It was a great attraction and the kids had such fun all morning. We saw "Dr Know" who asked the kids questions about taking care of themselves and being healthy and he was very entertaining.

Noah and Daddy had fun visiting the firetruck and talking to the nice firemen too.

Even the mascot for the Baseball team came out for some fun :)

David was getting some good photography shots for his portfolio as well and here is a favorite of ours of Kalyn on the dome at the playground...

After the festival, we went up to Mama's house to help plant flowers outside that Nana had brought. Noah first had to go lay on Mama's bed with his 3 black books that he insists on carrying around her house. They are 1 small dictionary, small bible and the new testament, I believe. He has to have these as soon as he enters her house! He looks tired already!

Noah and Kalyn enjoyed helping Nana dig holes for the flowers.

Picking Berries

Friday at 8 am we met our friend Melissa and her sons Tradd and Luke to go Strawberry picking. Well as you can see I think the kids picked a little and ate a lot. They were the most juicy bright red berries so who could blame them. They only last a few weeks so we will have to get some every week before they are gone!






Noah had to be sure they tasted ok before putting them in the basket and this one he bit and then placed in the basket as he did several others, ha ha

I gotta find a good red one!
